NICT Commitment to Data Privacy Protection

Protecting the security and privacy of your personal data is important to NICT; therefore, we conduct our business in compliance with applicable laws on data privacy protection and data security. We hope the policy outlined below will help you understand what data NICT may collect, how NICT uses and safeguards that data and with whom we may share it.

Personal data

Through our Web sites, NICT will not collect any personal data about you (e.g. your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address), unless you voluntarily choose to provide us with it (e.g. by registration, survey), respectively, provide your consent, or unless otherwise permitted by applicable laws and regulations for the protection of your personal data.

Purpose of Use

When you do provide us with personal data, we usually use it to respond to your inquiry, process your order or provide you access to specific information or offers. Also, to support our customer relationship with you:

Camera Permission

Apps uses camera only for scanning QR code to facilitate online payment and KYC purpose. We do not store or share scanned QR images. KYC documents are stored to comply with Government's norms

Storage Permission

Apps may ask for read/write permission to download transaction receipts in phone storage. We do not access any personal data of user.

Purpose Limitation

NICT will collect, use or disclose personal data supplied by you online only for the purposes disclosed to you, unless the disclosure:

  • is a use of the personal data for any additional purpose that is directly related to the original purpose for which the personal data was collected,
  • is necessary to prepare, negotiate and perform a contract with you,
  • is required by law or the competent governmental or judicial authorities,
  • is necessary to establish or preserve a legal claim or defense,
  • is necessary to prevent fraud or other illegal activities, such as wilful attacks on NICT information technology systems.
Communications or Utilization Data

Through your use of telecommunications services to access our Web site, your communications data (e.g. Internet protocol address) or utilization data (e.g. information on the beginning, end and extent of each access, and information on the telecommunications services you accessed) are technically generated and could conceivably relate to personal data. To the extent that there is a compelling necessity, the collection, processing and use of your communications or utilization data will occur and will be performed in accordance with the applicable data privacy protection legal framework.

Non-Personal Data Collected Automatically

When you access our Web sites, we may automatically (i.e., not by registration) collect non-personal data (e.g. type of Internet browser and operating system used, domain name of the Web site from which you came, number of visits, average time spent on the site, pages viewed). We may use this data and share it with our worldwide affiliates to monitor the attractiveness of our Web sites and improve their performance or content.

"Cookies" - Information Stored Automatically on Your Computer

Location Data

Our app collects and uses the location information of authorized field staff for employee attendance verification, field workforce monitoring, and work activity tracking. Location Collection:

The app may collect the device's precise location, including when the app is running in the background. Background location access is used to record the movement and presence of field staff during their working hours or assigned field duties.

Purpose of Location Collection:

Location data is collected and used for the following purposes:
To verify employee attendance and field presence.
To monitor field staff movement during working hours.
To verify that employees are visiting assigned locations or performing field activities.
To maintain accurate attendance and field-visit records.
To generate reports for authorized supervisors, administrators, or the employer.
To improve the accuracy and reliability of field workforce management.


Background Location:

The app may access location data in the background during authorized working hours or while field-duty tracking is enabled. This allows the organization to accurately monitor employee movement and field activity even when the app is not actively displayed on the device.

Background location is not used for advertising or for selling personal information.

Sharing of Location Data:

Location information may be made available to authorized supervisors, administrators, or the organization/employer using the app for attendance verification and field workforce monitoring. We do not sell location information to third parties.

Data Security:

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect location information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or misuse.

Data Retention:

Location data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill attendance, field monitoring, reporting, compliance, and organizational requirements, after which it may be deleted or anonymized in accordance with our data-retention practices.

User Consent:

The app requests the required location permissions from the user before accessing location information. Where background location access is required, the app will request the appropriate permission in accordance with the applicable Android and Google Play requirements.


By granting the required location permission and using the app for authorized work activities, the user acknowledges that location information may be collected and processed for the purposes described above.
