Title of the Project : Issuance and Marketing of RFID Tags in Electronic Toll Collection (ETC)

Scope of the Project :
i). Tie up with multiple agents to set up customer touch points called Point of Sale (POS). These agents will be authorized to issue tags on behalf of the Bank. It shall be the responsibility of the NICT TPL to enter into necessary agreements with various entities such as Fuel Stations, Toll Plazas, State entry check posts, Automobile shops, Roadside amenities, existing banking kiosks etc., for setting up POS Kiosks without recourse to the Bank.
ii). Conduct outbound activities in camp approach for issuance of RFID tags through their agents.
iii). Training to its staff for issuance and marketing of the tags (for Portal, KYC verification and Tag fixing).
iv). Maintain the sufficient stocks/inventory level of RFID tags at its issuing centers, life cycle management of RFID tags including inventory.
v). Provide facilities for recharge/topping up of RFID tag accounts of the vehicle User at PoS kiosks. Providing an efficient issuing and top up facilities for RFID tags viz. Cash, Xpress Card, Credit card, Debit Card, etc. The top/recharge through App/Web services.
vi). Reconciliation of day to day activities, cash management including settlement of account with the Bank, etc.
vii). For issuance of RFID tags to commercial and private vehicle owners, the agent should sell the tags making it ubiquitous-anywhere, anytime, also image capturing of the vehicles, physical verification of vehicle, properly affixing of the tags to the appropriate vehicle should be ensured by the service provider.
